Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth production flow and meet project deadlines assembling product, making up bespoke cables, picking and cutting installation kits, preparing product for shipping
This Production Assembly Operative will:
- Follow instructions and blueprints to fabricate high-quality products
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet stringent standards
- Support colleagues working remotely in testing for development and quality control
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Ensure that all goods that are loaded or unloaded safely and match the relevant paperwork
- Take responsibility for a company’s freight and assets by reporting any suspicious activity at work
- Store and rotate stock according to established procedures
- Report any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors
- Keep the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
- Follow workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
- Ensure efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
- Assist with warehouse inventory controls, which typically involves using a hand-held scanner
- Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times
- Be part of the installation team on site overseeing work carried out and actively helping to install
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with specifications, client needs, regulations and other contractual requirements
Key Qualifications for this Production Assembly Operative:
- Some experience of working in a manufacturing environment completing electromechanical assemblies
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment dealing with short notice change
- Good written and spoken English
