Front-End / Drupal Developer UX / UI (three month contract) London (Remote Working) – Up to £37k pro rata(Immediate Start)

This role is working for one of the best known charities in the UK. This Front-End / Drupal Developer will work on a variety of digital projects including the main corporate website – building mobile first interfaces that adhere to progressive enhancement and accessibility standards.

As part of an agile multi-disciplinary team, these guys use a combination of business and user needs/requirements, along with data, analytics and user testing to make decisions.

This Front-End / Drupal Developer will need experience in:

- Front-End coding using HTML, CSS, Twig, and JavaScript.

- UX insight, proposing innovative coding and software design solutions along with a solid knowledge of UX best practice

- Good knowledge of vanilla JavaScript and JS libraries/frameworks such as jQuery.

- Ability to debug JavaScript and Twig

- Knowledge or exposure to any of the following: git-flow; GitHub, Bitbucket or similar; PHP; Atlassian JIRA; third–party APIs using REST; continuous integration etc.

- Experience with Sketch or similar software (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD).

This Front-End / Drupal Developer will have:

- Three years commercial experience

- Extensive experience building user-centric products, supported by an excellent portfolio showcasing front-end development.

- Ability to communicate concept ideas through prototypes.

- An understanding of visual hierarchy, layout, typography and colour.

- Experience working with content management systems (CMS), particularly Drupal.

- Full understanding of Git version control system 4

- Familiarity with the Command Line Interface

- Experience of creating mobile first web pages that adhere to progressive enhancement andaccessibility standards
