​Audit Semi-Senior (Part Qualified), Guildford – Up to £40k dependent on experience

We’re looking for an Audit Semi-Senior to join a brilliant accountancy team in Guildford to work across a variety of business sectors. This practice fosters a culture built on mutual respect, where every voice is valued and every perspective matters.

This role is approximately split between 85%/90% audit and 15%/10% financial accounting.

This Audit Semi-Senior responsibilities are:

- Assist in planning and executing audit and assurance engagements across various industries.

- Prepare financial statements, reports, and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.

- Assist in performing risk assessments and testing internal controls for clients.

- Liaise with clients to resolve audit queries and present findings.

- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and feedback.

- To delegate routine work to the juniors either on site or in the office, and to review that work when it is completed.

- Stay updated on changes in accounting and audit standards.

- Successfully continue path towards chosen qualification.

This Audit Semi-Senior will have:

- AAT qualification or a number of module passes within the ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.

- Greater than a year’s experience of working effectively within an audit team.

- Experience of working towards a leading role within a team.

- Strong IT skills including good knowledge of Excel and preferably experience of Caseware Cloud and CCH Accounts Production
