Application Support Analyst. London hybrid. £70K plus benefits
This leading global active asset manager is looking for a Application Support Analyst to join a diverse and experienced global IT team responsible for supporting Distribution, Finance and HR applications

The hybrid working model is 3 days in office and the remaining time remotely.
This Application Support Analyst will involve:
Ensure the firm maintains high platform availability and meets our agreed service level agreements for Distribution, Finance and HR applications
Work with Distribution Technology, Platform, and infrastructure teams, carry out application checks, provide timely feedback via written or verbal communication
Ensure that all critical batch processes are documented and monitored e.g. middle office and external provider data loads.
Support daily monthly and ad-hoc data loads to facilitate business process such as AUM and Flow, Client Reporting and product launch
Participate in the incident management, problem management and change management processes.
Work on small enhancements and changes, support various projects and infrastructure testing
Conduct user training and process documentation to streamline business capability, strengthen, build, and maintain application documentation
Must have skills for this Application Support Analyst:
Experience of working within an application support team within the Asset Management or equivalent sector
Experience querying Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases, tracing data through tables, views, store procedures etc, experience with data in Excel
Takes ownership of issues, use their initiative, and embrace continual improvement of processes and technology
Experience scripting data fixes and deploying them into production
Exposure to Cloud technologies including AWS or Azure, Databaricks, Snowflake and Power BI
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools
Working knowledge of PC and server based operating systems, networks, and infrastructure tools
